Water and Speed: The crème de la crème in yachting

Regal’s all-new Commodore 3560 is the most recent addition to the company’s exclusive ‘yacht line,’ which includes models from 33′ - 44′. From the ergonomically designed cockpit forward seating area, to the fully appointed luxury interior, the all-new 3560 represents the crème de la crème in yachting comfort, design and performance.

creme_mid1.jpgRather than focusing nearly the entire passenger seating in the aft cockpit, Regal has developed a new split-level ‘cockpit forward’ seating arrangement, which incorporates a large C-shaped lounge adjacent to the two-person helm seat. A large lounge for additional seating is housed aft. This new seating arrangement allows the captain and crew to interact more comfortably while underway, and provides better visibility.

The 3560 will also perform out on the water. With ten people, half a tank of fuel and twin GXI 420 hp engine, the boat measured at speeds over 50 miles per hour.

The helm station features a non-glare dash; chart holder with acrylic cover; in-dash circuit breakers; easy access to the battery switches; and a stainless windshield with starboard wiper. Located aft of the helm is an integrated wet-bar with faucet/sink; large storage underneath; and a smartly designed tip-out trashcan.

The spacious master stateroom includes a private cabin forward with a queen-size berth; privacy bulkhead with pocket door; accent/reading lights; and a cedar-lined hanging locker with courtesy light. Sunlovers will appreciate the chaise lounge sunpad situated on the foredeck.

The large, open salon features a large dinette that easily converts into a double berth with storage behind the backrest. The salon also highlights standard cherry and holly flooring; a 15″ color flat-screen television with DVD; and a powerful Kenwood AM/FM stereo CD player.creme_mid2.jpg

The gourmet galley features Corian® countertops; a two-burner electric range with hideaway Corian® top; 4.2 cubic foot AC/DC refrigerator; overhead cabinet storage with plate holders; lower cabinet storage with utensil drawer and tip-out trashcan; and a deep, polished stainless steel sink.

With a privacy curtain, the additional aft seating area doubles as a second stateroom with sleeper sofa; cedar lined port hanging locker; drawer storage; and halogen reading lights.

The spacious head is accessed from the salon and includes a VacuFlush toilet; Corian® vanity top with molded sink; shower with sump pump and acrylic door; and upper/lower storage cabinets

There’s no need for Regal owners to spend extra money at the local chandlery before getting underway, because every new model in Regal’s exclusive ‘yacht line’ comes from the factory ready to go! Regal yachts come complete with towels; sheets; dishes; cups; silverware; life vests; fenders; dock lines; safety kit; docking hook; and even a deck brush, hose and bucket.

Some of the premium factory installed optional features include an anchor windlass; central vacuum system; cockpit refrigerator/icemaker; 7.3 - 8 KW generator; and an upgraded Kenwood CD player with remote, upgraded speakers, subwoofer and six-disc changer.creme_mid4.jpg

Power options from MerCruiser and Volvo Penta range from twin diesels I/O’s up to (520 hp) and twin gas I/O’s up to (840 hp.) The new 3560 also comes with a generous Lifetime Hull Warranty.
